Responsibilities include:
Create data-driven features that will integrate into key products, including machine-learning models and systematic investment strategies.
Research, design, implement, and deliver advanced analytics-based algorithms to solve critical business problems.
Work end-to-end on projects, from data extraction, feature selection, and engineering to model development, evaluation, and iteration.
Collaborate with R&D teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact.
Take ownership of infrastructure development, including creating scalable data pipelines, feature stores, utilities, and backtesting tools.
Requirements: MSc in Computer Science, Math, Information Management, Electronics Engineering, or related fields (PhD is a strong advantage).
Previous experience or demonstrated knowledge in finance/investing Must
5+ years of experience in researching and implementing algorithms.
2+ years of hands-on experience developing machine learning algorithms and data-driven systems in Python or R.
Strong programming skills with a deep understanding of machine learning principles (beyond familiarity with packages).
Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving, and a system-level understanding of complex challenges.
Independent thinker with the ability to lead problem definition and solution design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Experience with Big Data systems is a plus.
Research ability is highly valued.
High proficiency in English.
