Required Automation Infrastructure Team Lead
Join our dynamic QA department as an Automation Infrastructure Team Lead. This hands-on role lets you lead by example, spending approximately 70% of your time on technical tasks while guiding your team to success. Youll have a critical impact on the entire R&D department of our organization, setting the direction for QA strategies in a fast-paced CI/CD environment. What Youll Do:
Define and lead the QA strategy for scalable, reliable test automation infrastructure components.
Manage a team of 2 senior infrastructure QA engineers to maintain, improve, and develop test automation infrastructure.
Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of robust automation frameworks to ensure comprehensive coverage for the entire system under test, including websites, native apps, backend services. The infra team is also responsible for developing and maintaining critical automation services leveraged by the entire R&D department.
Build, present, and monitor the QA infrastructure roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and metrics.
Drive the adoption of tools and technologies to enhance development and testing efficiency across web, native apps, backend systems, and APIs, ensuring the use of modern solutions for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, development, DevOps, and the Chief Architect, to address shared challenges and propose enhancements that improve workflows and efficiency.
Mentor team members to build expertise in test automation development and align their skills with the latest advancements in tools and methodologies.
Foster innovation by leveraging AI-driven solutions and modern technologies to streamline QA processes and improve overall efficiency.
Identify challenges and propose enhancements to improve QA team workflows and efficiency.
Requirements: A BA or BSc degree.
A minimum of 7+ years in similar roles, with a proven track record of leading QA efforts in infrastructure or automation-focused environments.
Strong coding skills in programming languages with the ability to design and implement scalable testing solutions. (Experience with Java and Ruby is an advantage)
Proficiency in key technologies such as AWS services, Jenkins pipelines, and Docker.
Experience with CI/CD processes, database testing, and build processes involving Jenkins and Artifactory.
Expertise in Agile methodologies, ensuring seamless alignment with iterative development cycles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.
