We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer (PrE) to lead Process Development team.
The team leader will be responsible for both DFM (design for manufacturing), development of all assy processes and production transfer from RnD to NPI to MP (mass production). Both hands on, managing skills and experience with production environment are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology and operational transfer of manufacturing processes from R&D to a manufacturing environment
Process development of optics and mechanics assemblies for Mass Production in the automotive industry (Gluing, Pick and Place, Welding, Soldering, Screwing and such).
Lead and manage production process development from design phase DFM/A, up to implementation in the production line
Process optimization, capacity, and quality improvement (preforming DOE) Failure analysis
Work with a cross-functional team to identify and resolve customer and field-related issues
Requirements: Education: BSc. Degree in relevant fields Optics, Physics, Mechanics, or Electrical Engineering
Experience in leading small teams in a dynamic environment
At least 5 years of professional experience as a process/manufacturing engineer in an optics-related product
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, and experience in the automotive industry an advantage
Hands-on experience with automation, pick and place machines, dispensers, conveyors, and robotics.
Working experience in mass production operations
Clean room work experience
Project management skills and multi-tasking ability
Experience with multidisciplinary NPI products
Experience in working with vendors and CMs
Good analytical skills, self-starter with drive, focus, and initiative
Language skills: Good English, both written and verbal
Software: SolidWorks, JMP, Minitab, or equivalent
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A real team player able to efficiently work with multi-disciplines across the organization (Production, SC, R&D, QA etc.)
