Requirements
We are building the highest-performing file system in the world. This requires innovating all the way into the Linux operating systems that require accessing data at unlimited bandwidth and low latency.
We are forming a new team focused solely on Kernel development, collaborating with the upstream community, and setting new industry standards for fast file systems.

We are looking for a Linux expert.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to R&D departments (HW/SW CAD, RF) and engineering teams using EDA tools.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux systems (RedHat, Rocky, CentOS, Ubuntu) across physical and virtual environments (VMware, Proxmox).
Support hybrid cloud environments including AWS.
Administer NetApp storage systems and ensure effective data management and backup.
Oversee DevOps pipelines, automation tools (Ansible, Puppet), and CI/CD infrastructures.
Manage containerized environments (Docker, Rancher).
Monitor system health using tools like Nagios or other monitoring solutions.
Support and maintain floating license servers (LMGRD) for CAD and other licensed tools.
Provide technical support to both Linux and Microsoft users as needed.
Work with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with IT and other cross-functional teams on infrastructure-related initiatives.

Tel Aviv Research and Innovation Center, is looking for an experienced software engineer with expertise in Linux kernel development to join our Future-Computing-Infrastructure expert group. The group designs and develops technologies for the next-generation data center aimed at accelerating applications, optimizing compute resource utilization, and reducing data-center costs. Our projects involve hardware and software architecture co-design. They require high-level system understanding, creativity and innovative thinking.

What will you be doing?
Design and develop Linux kernel code related to virtual memory management
Research, design and innovate methods, algorithms and supporting data-structures for data caching and prefetching
Participate in research to analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks and optimize various decision-making mechanisms based on benchmarking results
Collaborate with professional team members and various global teams around the world on a daily basis
You will have to think outside of the box and come up with creative ideas to deal with complex challenges within Linux kernel

Our team at the Smart Platforms innovation Lab is chartered to research and incubate new technologies that will redefine the future data centers, cloud and supercomputer performance and functionality.
What will you be doing?
The group is looking to hire a deeply technical and creative developer to design and prototype end-to-end novel solutions in the networking and distributed computing domains for our data center, covering Cloud, Storage Big Data, network programmability, and end-to-end network software stacks.
