We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering & Management student to join our Materials team as a Student Buyer / Material Specialist. In this role, you will support procurement activities, work directly with suppliers, monitor material availability, and assist in ensuring uninterrupted supply to production.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.
Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status.
Monitor material shortages and support mitigation activities.
Track open orders and proactively resolve supply issues.
Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data.
Support inventory management and material planning activities.
Support reports generation, analyze procurement, and inventory data.
Participate in supplier communication and performance follow-up.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Materials and Supply Chain organization.
Requirements: Industrial Engineering & Management student (2nd year or above).
Availability to work 3 full working days per week.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP advantage).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations.
Knowledge of inventory management and material planning concepts.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
