Job Description
* Management, planning, development, and application of strategies for fundraising and infrastructure of University France.
* Identifying, targeting, and approaching new potential donors, and strengthening bonds between the university, lay leaders and existing donors.
* Raising funds from private donors, business companies and philanthropic funds in France
* Informing the local community about the university's activities and unique aspects in the local French public by advertising and public media
* Maintaining ongoing personal relationships and staying up to date with existing and potential donors to cultivate future relationships.
* Initiating visits and delegations to the university and producing special events for friends of the university in France, for fundraising and collaboration purposes
* Responsible for preparing proposals and projects with academic faculty members to create philanthropic collaborations.
* Responsible for reporting to donors and lay leaders in France and following how projects are advancing.
* Performing additional asks as requested by supervisor
Job scope: 100%
Requirements: * Experience of at least five years in recruitment/development of resources and/or parallel areas.
* Ability to work independently while adapting to different target audiences and providing a high level of service.
* Applying activity plans that include many varied interfaces in Israel and abroad.
* Excellent control of English and Hebrew.
* Excellent writing and verbal skills.
* Very familiar with the Jewish community in France.
* Strong computer skills.
* Academic degree.
