We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Automation Tech Lead to lead the technical direction of our automation infrastructure and drive the adoption of scalable, reliable, and maintainable automation solutions.
The role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring, working closely with QA, R&D, DevOps, and Product teams.
What you'll do:
Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture of automation.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
Develop automated tests using Python and pytest.
Integrate and maintain automation within CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
Define automation best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
Improve automation stability, execution time, coverage, and maintainability.
Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex automation and system issues.
Mentor automation engineers and conduct code reviews.
Collaborate with R&D to improve product testability and quality.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies and approaches, including AI-based testing and automation.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software development.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and pytest.
Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD, preferably Jenkins.
Experience with AI-assisted development or testing.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Experience with API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence teams without formal authority.
Advantage:
Experience with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, REST APIs, networking, or distributed systems.
Experience with performance, scalability, or reliability testing.
Previous experience as an Automation Lead or Technical Lead.
Education:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
