Position Summary
We are looking for a Global Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipping operations, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and excellent service to customers and internal stakeholders.
Arkena is a growing technology company that develops and supports advanced digital packaging solutions for customers worldwide. We manage the global movement of equipment, spare parts, consumables, and service-related shipments, primarily across North America and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate international shipments (Export, Import as well as domestic) from planning through final delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact with customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service providers.
Obtain freight quotations and coordinate transportation based on business needs and timelines.
Prepare review and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and any other required export/import documents.
Support customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with international shipping requirements.
Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and proactively resolve delays or operational issues.
Manage and maintain shipment records in ERP and CRM systems.
Review and validate logistics-related invoices and prepare shipment reports as required.
Requirements: 2-5 years of experience in international logistics, import/export operations, or freight forwarding.
Good understanding of international shipping processes, Incoterms, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
Experience working with ERP systems (Priority -an advantage).
Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce - an advantage).
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent English (written and spoken) - mandatory.
Additional Requirements
Availability outside standard Israeli business hours may be required to support global operations.
