Required HPC Software Engineer

We create cutting-edge technologies that synergize software and hardware in tandem to accelerate compute, storage and networking at large-scale. We aim to drive innovations and deliver software defined infrastructure to applications such as IaaS, FaaS/Serverless, HPC, NFV, AI/ML and Big Data.

What will you be doing?
Envision, design and develop new features in all layers of the HPC stack, from the application level, through the programming model (e.g. OpenMP, MPI) and down to the supporting libraries/middleware
Research, design and implement features for HPC applications using parallel programming models (e.g. OpenMP, MPI)
Contribute to open-source scientific computing, networking and I/O libraries
Research, design and assist in developing hardware offloads for features relevant for scientific, deep learning, and data-intensive workloads.

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to work on critical infrastructure for our computer vision projects.
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and project managers to design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions.
Your expertise in handling large-scale data systems will drive the success of our machine learning models and predictive systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and construct robust data pipelines specifically tailored for computer vision applications, ensuring efficient data flow from ingestion to processing.
Manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure to support the scalability and deployment of machine learning models.
Develop and maintain databases with both SQL and NoSQL technologies to ensure quick access and storage of complex datasets.
Implement automated scripts and programs using Bash and Python to streamline data operations.
Monitor the performance of data pipelines and infrastructure, making adjustments as necessary to optimize processing.
Collaborate closely with the machine learning team to understand their data needs and ensure alignment with project goals.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, implementing best practices in data management and pipeline development.

Were looking for a Team Leader skilled in Java, Kotlin, or Scala with a deep understanding of OO, functional programming, and software design principles. You should excel in development and have a strong grasp of design patterns and architectural patterns, driving our projects forward with innovation and expertise. We do not use springboot or common frameworks but rather we develop our own.

As a member of the small yet pivotal Product Management team, you will be responsible for influencing the roadmap of our Computer Vision solutions. You will help our developers understand the needs of our customers who are implementing cutting edge solutions with edge AI devices.

You will be required to evaluate proposed solutions, implement POCs when needed, and communicate with the users of our B2D products.

You will focus on AI tools encompassing original open-source projects and commercial tools provisioned as distributed software or web services. Optionally you will also be involved in product aspects of our edge AI hardware technology.

You will be expected to keep up with the latest developments in machine learning, edge computing, and specifically, edge computer vision.

As an engineer in the team, you will

Design and implement embedded software for network stack, enhance the stack efficiency and performance on actual networks, and optimize the solution for memory and power consumption, according to simulations and testing on IoT devices.

Design and implement application layer which is part of an open SDK to customers.

Take part in designing sophisticated local network topologies that use routing and self-healing protocols to ensure continuous connection while maintaining low power consumption.
