This is a senior individual-contributor position within the Physics team, focused on advanced imaging systems and the development and optimization of physics-based algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze system physics and the complete imaging chain
Develop and improve calibration methods and correction algorithms
Evaluate and optimize image quality and system performance
Plan and conduct experiments using phantoms and imaging systems
Analyze experimental data and identify performance trends and anomalies
Investigate image artifacts, system limitations, and performance issues
Collaborate closely with Software, Hardware, system Engineering, and V V teams
Contribute to the development and improvement of advanced imaging technologies and algorithms
Requirements: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Strong experience in at least two of: imaging physics, algorithms, calibration, image quality, or system optimization
Experience with data analysis, measurements, and technical investigations
Hands-on experimental experience and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
Experience with advanced imaging systems or medical devices - an advantage
Python and/or MATLAB
Strong technical writing and teamwork skills
Fluent English; Hebrew - an advantage
