We are seeking a Junior Microbiologist to support chemical and microbiological experiments and to take an active role in daily laboratory operations and management.
This is a hands-on position, ideal for an early-career Scientist who wants exposure to applied microbiology, water/industrial processes, and real experimental work
The role combines lab experiments, analytical work, documentation, and laboratory organization, working closely with engineers, R D, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Microbiological Chemical Work
Perform microbiological analyses (e.g., culturing, enumeration, basic identification)
Conduct chemical and water-quality experiments according to protocols
Prepare media, reagents, and chemical solutions
Support lab-scale trials, pilots, and validation experiments
Temporary position for 9-12 months with option to continue
Requirements: Education
B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
(M.Sc. - advantage, not required)
Experience
0-3 years of laboratory experience (academic or industrial)
Hands-on lab experience is essential (student lab work counts)
