Were looking for a Senior hands-on DevOps Team Leader with strong TypeScript skills and deep AWS experience, whos excited to modernize how we build, deploy, and run cloud services. Youll work across product and infrastructure, security and FinOps, shaping scalable, secure, and reliable systems using Infrastructure as Code. Lead a cross functional full-stack team, familiarity with Pulumi (or similar IaC tools like Terraform/CDK) is a must.
What Youll Do
Lead and mentor a small, high-impact full-stack team (backend, frontend).
Build product-facing microservices and full-stack features in TypeScript.
Design and own AWS infrastructure using Pulumi/Terraform/CDK with a strong focus on automation and scalability.
Drive features end-to-end, from idea to production, and help define engineering standards across the board.
Keep our environments rock-solid - secure, observable, cost-efficient, and resilient.
Debug tricky production issues across both infrastructure and application layers.
Continuously improve how we build: CI/CD, DevOps, documentation, workflows, and everything in between.
70-80% Hands On
Requirements: At least 2+ years of proven hands-on coding experience in TypeScript - MUST
At least 3+ years experience working with Terraform / Pulumi - MUST
At least 5+ years of industry experience working hands-on as A DevOps with AWS, with demonstrated success designing, building, managing, and scaling production-grade systems on the platform - MUST.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
Deep understanding of core AWS services, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudFront, S3, and Route 53.
Experience with networking fundamentals in AWS: VPC design, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, security groups, NACLs etc.
Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Strong grasp of IAM and security best practices: role and policy design, secrets management, least privilege enforcement, and cloud identity governance.
Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring, logging, and incident response.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, with a high level of ownership, accountability, and adaptability.
