A premier defense aerospace firm is hiring a Mechanical R D Engineer to drive mechanical development, design, and modernization for mission-critical airborne systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Design: Lead mechanical design and upgrades for airborne platforms and sub-assemblies (spec-to-production).
Technical Reviews: Conduct formal Design Reviews (PDR / CDR) and feasibility studies.
Documentation NPI: Manage BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and ensure smooth production handoff.
Cross-Functional Client Lead: Serve as technical focal point for clients and cross-disciplinary internal teams.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering - Must
3+ years in mechanical R D / design - Must
Expertise in SOLIDWORKS - Must
Experience with aircraft modification, retrofits, or platform upgrades - Must
Track record of leading PDR / CDR reviews managing client interfaces - Must
Familiarity with NPI and defense standards - Advantage
Fluent technical English (written spoken) - Must
