The role combines theoretical and experimental system engineering and provides the opportunity to work on advanced multidisciplinary optical measurement products throughout their lifecycle, from customer needs and early development stages through integration, product transfer to manufacturing, and support at customer sites.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Perform theoretical and experimental systems engineering to support state-of-the-art new and existing multidisciplinary optical measurement products.
Drive the full system lifecycle, from understanding customer needs through feasibility and concept evaluation, translating them into cross-disciplinary system requirements, while defining and managing system KPIs.
Conduct laboratory and on-site system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, including root-cause analysis, mitigation plans, implementation of robust system calibration methods, and product transfer to manufacturing.
Work closely with multiple disciplines, including physics, optics, algorithms, mechanics, electronics, and software.
Translate customers high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Support system integration, validation, and product maturity throughout the development lifecycle.
Travel to customer sites worldwide approximately 2-3 times per year.

The Electronics Team is looking for an Electrical & Electronics tech Lead to support the development of next-generation metrology systems for semiconductor manufacturing. In this role, you will become an integral part of our R&D organization, contributing to the design, development, integration, and validation of advanced electrical and electronic systems used in ultra-high precision OCD metrology platforms.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
Design and develop analog, digital, mixed-signal, and electrical (AC/DC) subsystems for complex multidisciplinary products.
Design electronic boards and participate in schematic reviews, component selection, integration, validation, and production release activities.
Develop embedded firmware and engineering software tools for control, monitoring, automation, testing, and data acquisition applications.
Lead electrical integration activities from prototype phase through manufacturing transfer and product lifecycle support.
Prepare engineering documentation including specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and design reports.
Participate in product specification reviews, architecture discussions, and multidisciplinary design reviews.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Implement the Customer Support Policy for the OEM End User. Supervise, maintain, and support company systems in the field.
Support OEM partners, and End Users internal service as defined under warranty and service support agreements.
Maintain, support, and guide proper training to all users, including OEM and End User personnel. (Training will be provided, in most cases, by an engineer dedicated to training).
Maintain proper reporting methods for all activities of customer support as defined by the Territory Service Manager/Customer Support Manager.
Lead technical field escalation.
Involved in product evaluations activities at customer site; make sure field and customer needs are well-represented and prioritized during the product roadmap.
Assist in new equipment integration, add-ons, and upgrades.
Provide feedback to the headquarters based on experience gained with customers.
Support the customer beyond the defined working schedule as required.
