Required KYC Support Specialist
About the opportunity:
Every merchant that joins our platform starts their journey through KYC. As a KYC Support Specialist, youll be at the heart of that process - verifying merchant information, managing compliance requirements, and helping the team strike the right balance between operational efficiency, strong conversion rates, and the highest regulatory standards.
What youll be doing:
Manage the end-to-end KYC onboarding process - merchant verification, document review, account validation, and compliance checks.
Perform merchant due diligence to identify risks, inconsistencies, or suspicious activity, and support broader fraud prevention and risk assessment efforts.
Communicate daily with merchants, collecting information, resolving issues, and guiding them through onboarding - while ensuring no case falls through the cracks.
Partner with local and international acquirers and financial institutions to manage approvals and ongoing requirements.
Proactively identify recurring issues, investigate root causes, and drive solutions.
Support business growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
This is a hands-on operational role that combines analytical work with daily communication with merchants, acquirers, and financial partners. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Requirements:
Native Hebrew - a must
High level English (written and spoken).
1+ years of hands-on experience in KYC, Payments, Risk Operations, Fraud Prevention, or Merchant Operations.
Attention to detail - sometimes a tiny detail can have a huge effect. Lets catch it early.
Order and structure - there are hundreds of merchants in the KYC process. Each at a different stage. Staying organized is key.
Assertiveness - a big part of the job is with the credit card companies and merchants. A fast effective process is the best process.
Experience with SQL.
AI literacy - ability to effectively use AI tools to improve productivity, research, and analysis.
This position is open to all candidates.

This is a role for someone who has sat on either side of an audit - facing external or regulatory auditors, or performing internal audit - who writes clearly, works well with people across the company, and wants to be part of a team rather than a lone expert.
Responsibilities:

Design, build and run AI agents and automations for Compliance Operations: define the flow with Product / R&D, test and QA outputs, draw conclusions, feed improvements back, and measure the hours saved.
Represent Compliance Operations towards Compliance leadership, auditors, regulators and card schemes on operational matters, and make recommendations on process and control changes.
Improve processes that touch Compliance Operations in other teams (Sales / RevOps ticket flows and SLAs, onboarding and TM hand-offs, partner communications) through roundtables, training and procedures.
Support compliance with audit and regulatory examinations end-to-end: scope the request with Compliance, coordinate data pulls with Data, build evidence packs and data sets and drive remediation to closure.
Monitor performance through KPI dashboards (SLAs, backlog, volumes) and drive continuous improvement based on the data.
Design, build and run AI agents and automations for Compliance Operations.
A data-driven approach, utilizing insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. Monitor progress and measure performance through KPI dashboards , embrace ongoing improvements framework and support cross-company processes and ad-hoc tasks,
Promote a culture of proactivity, efficiency, innovation and continuous learning within the risk and compliance functions.
דרישות:
Bachelor's degree from a recognised educational/academic institution.
8+ years of experience in Compliance, Compliance Operations, Risk Operations, internal audit, Regulatory Compliance or FinCrime prevention with a strong preference for experience within a global Fintech or other regulated financial company, including at least 3 years in a role with ownership of audits, regulatory deliverables or cross-functional programs.
Hands-on audit experience: you have either worked directly with external / regulatory auditors (preparing evidence, data sets and written responses) or performed internal audit yourself.
5+ years of experience in creating compliance processes and flows, and in leading cross-functional projects to completion.
Proven track record of successfully modernizing, enhancing, automating and documenting complex processes and workflows; hands-on experience with AI / LLM tools (e.g., Claude) and with data tools (Excel / Looker) is a strong advantage.
Comfortable translating operational needs into clear requirements and priorities for technical partners - experience working alongside Product, Data or R&D teams to define, test and roll out process changes or tools is an advantage.
Familiarity with card-scheme rules and programs (Visa / Mastercard registrations, high-risk merchant programs) - An advantage.
Written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences - including formal written correspondence with auditors and card schemes, and drafting procedures# המשרה מיועדת לנשים ולגברים כאחד.

Hands-On Program Management
Act as an owner for key initiatives, driving the full product lifecycle from discovery and definition through launch, iteration, and performance monitoring. Use data and experimentation to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes. Identify and remove bottlenecks in the underwriting flow to drive toward high-automation and speed-to-market.
Requirements:

Proven ability to lead by merit and logic within a matrixed structure (partnering with ML Strategists, Squad Leads, engineering teams and Business Owners).
Hands-on experience driving technical initiatives from concept to launch, including writing requirements, managing high-velocity backlogs, aligning daily execution with long-term strategic roadmaps, and using data to guide decisions.
Uncompromising attention to detail with strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with comfort making trade-offs in ambiguous, complex technical environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex risk concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a track record of balancing competing priorities from multiple business stakeholders.
Enthusiasm for leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to augment program management workflows and boost execution speed.
A proven ability to thrive in "technical chaos" and create order through structured actionable roadmaps.
A high sense of ownership, accountability, and bias toward action.
Very strong proficiency in English (written and verbal), as this role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
