What you'll be doing:
Lead engineering engagement with strategic and critical suppliers for new product introductions (NPI) and ongoing production, identify potential risks, critical parameters, and areas for optimization.
Define and implement clear monitoring and documentation requirements for key process steps to ensure consistency and quality.
Establish comprehensive quality criteria and outgoing quality control (OQC) procedures at suppliers prior to shipment.
Monitor and analyze supplier yield data, production metrics, and quality performance to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams (Design, Product, Reliability, Quality) to ensure supplier capabilities align with product requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives at suppliers to enhance process control, yield, and overall product quality.
Conduct supplier technical audits and provide mentorship on standard processes in manufacturing and quality control.

Manage the product as a project - Define the timeline for having our designs out, manage quality meetings, set full road map for quality, capacity and automation as readiness towards HVM.

This is a high-visibility role requiring both tactical execution and strategic thinking in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.


What you'll be doing:
Lead a team of engineers as part of the EVM team for assigned component categories: PCBs, liquid cooling systems, high-speed connectors, and optical components for switches.
Drive component readiness and maturity against program timelines and project gates.
Build and manage supplier capability roadmaps aligned with NPI standards and qualification milestones.
Prepare suppliers for automation ramp - both for capacity scaling and quality assurance.
Develop suppliers toward our NPI standards, including process audits, yield targets, and reliability requirements.
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align component status with program schedules.
Monitor and manage component risk; escalate proactively and drive mitigation plans.
Manage detailed work across multiple concurrent programs in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

We are looking for an NPI Engineer for the R&D team. The NPI Engineer will own the end-to-end transition of multidisciplinary medical devices from R&D prototypes to stable, scalable serial production, serving as the bridge between product development and Operations.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the full NPI and design-transfer process from R&D handoff through pilot builds, qualification, production ramp-up, and stabilization.

Build and drive transfer plans, schedules, risk and action tracking, production-readiness criteria, and release gates.

Perform DFA for products and its related jigs.
Perform PFMEA for error-less implementation in a production line, while ongoingly managing product's quality in production line.
Develop and validate production process for each project type, striving for ideal robustness level prior HVM.
Real time-problem-solving of unknown engineering issues in the production line.
Integration and matrix management as product's engine and center key for success.
Establish new production lines at CMs sites from engineering POV, while leading CM's engineering parties to excellence.
