The MLIL FLOW team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to design and build automation, tooling, and monitoring systems for our next-generation ML accelerator servers. We build production software to validate, initialize, monitor, and qualify these servers - from first silicon through fleet-scale deployment. Our work spans hardware diagnostics, manufacturing test automation, CI/CD pipelines, operational dashboards, and data-driven fleet health monitoring.


Key job responsibilities
Design and develop software infrastructure - automation frameworks, deployment systems, and test orchestration platforms that run at scale across manufacturing and production environments.
Work cross-functionally with Hardware, Manufacturing, and EC2 teams to automate coordinated software delivery and qualification workflows.
Debug and root-cause hardware/software interaction failures using systematic data analysis and automation-assisted triage.

Own the technical strategy and roadmap for BlueField platform boot integration, from early firmware through Linux login.

Set the technical direction for platform boot integration in partnership with the architecture team, experienced domain experts, product teams, and firmware partners.

Lead the most complex cross-layer technical issues and drive technical decisions with architecture and domain experts on reliability, security, performance, recovery, and platform readiness.

Define the operating model for boot integration: interface contracts, qualification criteria, release decisions, technical risk management, and escalation paths across organizations.

Identify and assess emerging technologies, development methods, and tools. Drive adoption where they improve product capability, quality, engineering efficiency, or time to debug.

we are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer.
What you'll own:
Design and implement safety-critical flight software in modern C and C++ on a hard-real-time RTOS, from driver level to application logic.
Implement the execution layer for acoustically shaped flight profiles, guaranteeing deterministic timing and jitter budgets that the acoustics team can bank on.
Build and maintain hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test benches that exercise flight software against simulated vehicle dynamics, sensors, and actuation before anything flies.
Define and document software requirements, architecture, and verification evidence consistent with DO-178C objectives, working toward a certifiable baseline from day one.
Develop board support packages, bus interfaces (CAN, serial, deterministic Ethernet), and health-monitoring logic for flight control and actuation computers.
Profile and optimize worst-case execution time, memory usage, and task scheduling on resource-constrained flight hardware.
Support ground and flight test campaigns: instrument the software, analyze telemetry and timing logs, and close the loop on anomalies within days, not quarters.
Conduct and participate in rigorous code and design reviews, raising the bar for a small team whose code flies the aircraft.
