What you'll be doing:
Manage the product as a project - Define the timeline for having our designs out, manage quality meetings, set full road map for quality, capacity and automation as readiness towards HVM.
Lead engineering engagement with strategic and critical suppliers for new product introductions (NPI) and ongoing production, identify potential risks, critical parameters, and areas for optimization.
Define and implement clear monitoring and documentation requirements for key process steps to ensure consistency and quality.
Establish comprehensive quality criteria and outgoing quality control (OQC) procedures at suppliers prior to shipment.
Monitor and analyze supplier yield data, production metrics, and quality performance to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
Lead and align our internal engineering teams (Design, Product, Reliability, Quality) - teams that do not report to you - to ensure supplier capabilities align with product requirements and committed timelines.
Conduct supplier technical audits and provide mentorship on standard processes in manufacturing and quality control.
Own issues end to end - drive the investigation to root cause and come to the table with a recommended solution, an implementation plan, and an owner, not only with a flagged problem.

Perform DFA for products and its related jigs.
Perform PFMEA for error-less implementation in a production line, while ongoingly managing product's quality in production line.
Develop and validate production process for each project type, striving for ideal robustness level prior HVM.
Real time-problem-solving of unknown engineering issues in the production line.

Key responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated Project Engineer to join our cross-platform team. In this role, you will lead and execute a variety of sustain engineering projects and activities, including cost reduction initiatives, creation of new product configurations, and updates to existing configurations driven by regulatory requirements or process improvement needs. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, primarily from RA, Engineering, R&D, and QA.

Manage and execute cross platform projects from initiation to implementation phase while working with internal and external resources.

Create and maintain new product configurations in our PLM system and verify proper transfer to production and implementation.

Perform changes to existing products, update work instructions, test procedures, labeling etc.

Lead process validation activities in our production lines (sub-contractors).

Manage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, end to end.

Participate in miscellaneous engineering department activities as needed.

The HW PM team focuses on HW engineering development activities; managing multiple complex programs that support the development and TTM of new Networking products for datacenter segment. The role of PM organization gives an individual the principal responsibility of overseeing and coordinating the program and rollout, the mission is to cover all stages of program development, including schedule planning, resource allocation, cohesive program execution, change management, and cycle closure with post-mortems.
