abra R&D is seeking an Embedded QA & Integration Engineer. We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on complex, mission-critical embedded systems. The role focuses on system-level and integration testing of real-time embedded products, combining laboratory testing, field integration, and in-depth troubleshooting. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Northern Israel, with no hybrid option. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform hands-on manual testing of complex embedded and real-time systems at the system and integration levels
* Plan, write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios
* Perform end-to-end integration testing of the product as a complete system
* Analyze requirements and technical specifications and translate them into thorough test scenarios
* Work with laboratory test equipment and perform practical system setup, including connecting equipment, interfaces, and cables
* Troubleshoot and investigate failures using logs, network traces, Sniffer/Wireshark, and other diagnostic tools
* Test interfaces and interactions between the product and external systems
* Perform integration activities at customer sites when required
* Identify, reproduce, document, and investigate defects to help determine their root cause
* Work closely with Embedded, Software, Hardware, System, and Integration engineers to ensure high test coverage and product quality
* Work with Jira for defect tracking and test-related activities

We are looking for a Manual QA & Integration Engineer to work on complex systems. The role primarily focuses on manual software testing, alongside integration activities in laboratory environments and at customer site
During specific periods and according to project needs, integration activities may temporarily become a significant part of the role.
Responsibilities
Performing unit-level and system-level software testing, including test result analysis
Analyzing requirements, writing test documentation, and conducting test reviews
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex issues in real time
Reporting defects and performing retesting following their resolution
Performing end-to-end integrations in laboratory environments and at customer sites, including on-site system implementation
Leading tasks and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including development teams, product managers, and customers.

We are looking for an exceptional software integrator to join our team. You will be responsible for Integration of embedded application software and algorithm libraries for internal and customer facing software releases.
What will your job look like:
Develop and maintain software versions in Linux environments.
Manage and control the integration branches (Git, Gitlab).
Support cross teams and cross organizations complex integration tasks.
Oversee version validation, assign issues to owners, coordinate the resolution of code conflict.
Hands-on debugging and testing of software related components.
Release & feature management in a multi-project and multi-disciplinary environment while managing CI systems for testing coverage.

What Youll Be Doing:

Lead and serve as the technical focal point for the integration of PHY system aspects and optical (CPO) electrical subsystems, ensuring their performance.

Hands on cross-disciplinary testing efforts and lab work, collaborating with system architecture, optics, silicon, thermal, mechanical, signal/power integrity, and software teams.

Characterization and testing of optical links using lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, BER testers, optical spectrum analyzers and simulation tools).

Driving product scalability, working with internal partners-qualification teams to transition designs from prototype to high-volume production.

Documentation and reporting of design specifications, test results, and performance metrics.
