As a Photographer, you will own end-to-end food and market product photography, from pre-production planning and styling to shooting, editing, and delivery. Youll set the visual bar for our marketplace, build scalable photo systems (guidelines, lighting setups, props, naming,DAM), and lead on-site/remote shoots with partners and vendors. The role requires mobility: frequent travel for shoots across Israel, transporting gear, and adapting to partner schedules. While the core is still photography, ability to create simple video/motion assets (short reels, 360spins, stop-motion, cinemagraphs) is an important nice-to-have.
What Will You Do
Studio & On-Site Shoots: Plan and execute high-volume shoots for restaurants and markets (packaged goods, fresh produce, ready-to-eat dishes), ensuring consistent framing, color, and lighting.
Styling & Art Direction: Develop shot lists and mood boards; direct plating/merchandising to highlight key attributes (portion, ingredients, brand).
Post-Production: Own retouching, color correction, background cleanup, cropping, and export pipelines create presets and LUTs for speed and consistency.
Standards & Playbooks: Define and maintain photography guidelines (angles, props, surfaces, lighting ratios, file naming, metadata, DAM taxonomy) for internal teams and external vendors.
Partner Enablement: Train restaurant/market staff and outsourced photographers review test shoots provide feedback that lifts quality and throughput.
Mobility & Scheduling: Coordinate travel routes and shoot calendars; drive to multiple sites per day, manage load-in/out, and uphold gear safety and partner SLAs.
Cross-Functional Delivery: Coordinate with Content Specialists to align imagery with menu/catalog data prioritize SKUs and launches; hit strict go-live SLAs.
Light Video/Motion: Produce high quality and scalable motion assets, short social-style clips, 360 product spins, quick prep/pour shots, basic stop-motion; maintain templates for consistent look and feel.
Quality Control: Implement sample checks and batch audits; maintain rejection/redo thresholds and root-cause analysis for defects.
Reporting: Track image readiness, first-pass accept rate, edit cycle time, and impact on page conversion.
Requirements: Experience: 2-3 years in commercial product or food photography, preferably for marketplaces/e-commerce; portfolio demonstrating consistency at scale.
Technical Depth: Mastery of DSLR/mirrorless systems, prime/macro lenses, tethered capture, color management, and continuous/strobe lighting.
Post Skills: Expert in Lightroom/Photoshop (or Capture One); comfortable building presets, actions, and batch workflows.
Systems Mindset: Proven ability to create guidelines, shot libraries, and scalable processes experience with DAM/PIM/CMS a strong plus.
Collaboration & Leadership: Able to direct on-site crews and vendors clear communicator with partners and cross-functional teams strong project management under tight SLAs.
Mobility Requirements: Valid drivers license, reliable access to a vehicle (or equivalent), willingness to travel nationwide.
Nice to Have (Important): Video & motion skills, shooting and editing short-form clips, simple motion loops/stop-motion, and 360 spins basic soundbed selection and safe-for-use music familiarity.
