As an Applied Scientist, you will design and build ML and LLM-powered solutions for Amazon's customer memory and personalization systems. You will work on how customer knowledge is extracted, validated, and applied in production systems.

You will own the end-to-end delivery of ML solutions, from problem formulation and modeling to offline and online experimentation, and production deployment at scale. You will deliver high-quality, scalable systems that power customer-facing experiences.
You will drive work across areas such as fact extraction, memory quality and lifecycle, temporal reasoning, and grounded personalization, while navigating tradeoffs between quality, latency, and coverage.

As our Sensor Quality Lead, youll own the quality of the Sensor - how we test it, and how we prove it works accurately and efficiently across the environments our customers run it in. There's no existing playbook for this role; you'll be the one writing it, tackling complex testing challenges in the Linux systems realm and building the automation that lets us ship with confidence.

In particular:

Design and build automated test frameworks and specialized harnesses for the Sensor
Build and maintain test environments across Kubernetes, Docker, and VMs, including test applications written in different languages, so a single build is validated everywhere it runs
Build the test infrastructure that measures accuracy, performance, and resource consumption under high scale
Define quality metrics for the Sensor, build the test infrastructure that measures them along with dashboards and visibility measures to surface them
Collaborate with the Sensor teams, Product Managers, research, and other R&D teams to deliver end-to-end quality

A sensor runs on every customer machine, takes inventory of the software and AI tools in use, sends that back over an encrypted channel, and enforces policy locally. It runs as a service on Windows and a daemon on macOS, with the access and the responsibility that come with running as SYSTEM and root. This role owns the hard parts of it.

What you'll work on

The sensor itself: software inventory, secure telemetry, and on-device policy enforcement, on both Windows and macOS.

Real OS work. On macOS that means Launch Services, Spotlight, IOKit, the Security framework, and Open Directory. On Windows it means services, ETW, WMI, the registry, and WinSock.

The policy enforcement point: evaluating rules over events (including AI-tool use and browser extensions) against a policy engine, and talking to the backend that makes the decisions.

Encrypted logging and telemetry, crash handling and symbolication, and the recovery path that keeps the agent running and hard to tamper with.

Signed installers and macOS configuration profiles.

Tech you'll work with

The work is low-level systems development in Rust, close to the operating system across Windows, macOS, and Linux - memory, processes, files, and the OS internals that expose them. Alongside that, you'll lean hard on agentic coding tools; deep fluency with at least one is central to how we work, not a bonus. Expect to range across the stack - OS internals, AI tooling internals, CI, and a fair amount of reverse engineering - and to learn the parts you don't know yet.

As a Security Researcher, you will be responsible for leading in-depth research into emerging blockchain threats and vulnerabilities and developing real-time detection and mitigation capabilities in close collaboration with our engineering and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth security research on blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities, exploits, and attack vectors in Web3 protocols.
Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate detection capabilities into our on-chain exploit detection system.
Create proof-of-concept (PoC) exploits and simulations to help test and validate threat scenarios.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the network simulation service. You will enhance the simulator performance and quality and scale it to support massive loads, additional clients and unique use cases. You will work on integrating this infrastructure with cloud computation services and ensure the simulation is available as a service for AI agents and internal customers.
