As a Senior Staff Software Engineer in the Detection Platform group, you will be tasked with being the technical authority responsible for defining and evolving the architecture of the cloud-native systems that power our AI SIEM detection, hunting, and response capabilities, including large-scale real-time detection engines, stateful detection engines, anomaly detections, ML pipelines, agentic SOC and threat-hunting capabilities. You will lead the design and execution of backend systems that process billions of events and several petabytes of data daily and serve tens of thousands of security specialists at enterprise and government customers worldwide. As a Software Developer on our team, you will work across both backend services and endpoint components, designing scalable systems that connect endpoint-level data collection with cloud-based analysis and enforcement. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services alongside endpoint components for a cross-platform security platform
Design scalable systems that integrate endpoint-collected data with cloud-based processing and enforcement
Build and enhance endpoint agents responsible for monitoring and controlling interactions with AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, web-based AI services)
Implement data pipelines, policy enforcement logic, and secure data handling mechanisms across endpoint and backend layers
Collaborate with AI and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed system and endpoint components.

Design & Scale Core Pipelines: Architect, implement, and deploy our complex, highly-scalable data processing pipeline focused on analyzing massive amounts of data.
Tackle Diverse Data Challenges: Work hands-on with vast construction data-ranging from scheduling and BIM to video processing and 3D model analysis. Architect and integrate various Computer Vision and data processing algorithms into a robust, cloud-based production environment to generate unique insights.
Ensure Performance: Maintain a relentless focus on performance, reliability, and scalability as you process data from real-world construction sites globally.

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Platform team in Tel Aviv. You'll build the infrastructure that powers our entire engineering organization, accelerating how our teams ship features that millions of customers rely on. This role is perfect for someone who loves solving complex distributed systems challenges and creating tools that make other developers' lives better.

In this role you'll:
Build core platform services that support all development teams across web, mobile, and backend systems
Design and maintain robust APIs for distributed microservices architecture using TypeScript, with Rust experience as a major plus
Collaborate with staff engineers and tech leads to establish platform standards, patterns, and best practices across the engineering organization
Own service stability and communication between systems, implementing both synchronous and asynchronous patterns at scale
Drive developer efficiency initiatives by creating tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that eliminate friction for product teams
Work hands-on with AWS infrastructure including Kafka, RabbitMQ, EKS, SQS, Lambda, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi
Partner closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of platform services

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Cortex Platform Application team, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, building, and operating critical backend platform services used across Cortex. This role is for an engineer who can combine deep platform/backend expertise with strong ownership, practical execution, and cross-team influence. You will help build scalable and reliable services, guide technical decisions, improve engineering methods, mentor engineers, and raise the quality of how the team designs, ships, documents, tests, and operates its systems. The team owns a broad set of platform capabilities, including areas such as application configuration, dashboards and reporting infrastructure, metrics, multi-tenant and MSSP infrastructure, log forwarding, notifications, auditing, access and permission engines, filtering and querying infrastructure, and other shared application platform domains. We are looking for someone who is not only strong technically, but also enjoys joining a high-performing team, taking ownership from within, and helping turn strong execution into repeatable engineering practice. A successful candidate will quickly become a trusted part of the team by shipping meaningful work, learning the team's domains, and helping others move faster. Over time, this person will help the team increase delivery capacity while also improving how work is designed, documented, tested, operated, and shared across the organization.
