In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex analog and mixed-signal ICs for SolarEdge’s cutting-edge products in the renewable energy sector. What will you be doing:
* Architecture planning using behavioral models for simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
* Design, implement and verify circuits & systems to meet product requirements including schematic entry, simulation, layout and supervision.
* Verification of analog and mixed-signal sub-systems and the entire design using transistor-level.
* Validation of design by laboratory measurement.
* Support product engineering to meet manufacturing and production needs.

We are seeking a sharp, experienced Hardware team leader to lead the design of the digital and mixed-signal boards at the heart of advanced energy Storage products. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an engineer with deep, real-world experience in the disciplines that make or break a mixed-signal design - grounding, EMI, robust communication, and accurate measurement - and, just as importantly, in how these are verified at the board and full- system level. What will you be doing:
* Leading the HW design of the digital and mixed-signal boards and products, from concept through mass production
* Owning the design of accurate measurements, robust communication, grounding, and power distribution - across the boards and at the system level
* Defining how these are verified and characterized, both on the bench and within the complete system
* Managing and growing the team - owning the team's tasks, design reviews, and timelines
* Leading several development projects in parallel, across all project stages up to mass production
* Working in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborating across departments and sites

Principle duties and responsibilities:

Design hardware modules, subsystems and systems for synchronization products.

Develop schematics and guide PCB layout (high-speed, mixed-signal, power).

Select and evaluate components (ICs, power devices, oscillators, interfaces).

Design high-speed interfaces (e.g., 10G/25G Ethernet) with signal integrity considerations.

Contribute to hardware design specifications (HDS) and documentation.

Support system-level integration (HW, FPGA, SW).

Define and execute validation and integration test plans.

Debug complex board and system-level issues (mixed-signal, high-speed).

Perform lab bring-up, measurements, and performance characterization.

Support product transfer to manufacturing (NPI).

Collaborate with manufacturing and test teams for production readiness.

Investigate and resolve issues during production and field operation.

Ensure product reliability, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.

Functional Collaboration.

Work closely with FPGA, software, system, SIT/SVT and mechanical teams.

Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

Interface with suppliers and external partners as required.

Evaluate and introduce new technologies and components.

Drive improvements in performance, power efficiency, and cost.

Contribute to system architecture discussions and design trade-offs.
