we are looking for an AI Specialist with deep, hands-on expertise in modern AI platforms to train, prototype, build and ship AI-powered solutions across the organization. Working closely with business stakeholders and IT peers , this role is a combination of an ability to design and work with AI consumers across the organization and technical - to turn the business needs into working AI solutions at speed using the latest agentic and low-code AI tools.
In this role you will also nurture the AI builder's community with advanced knowledge, technical sessions, builders CI/CD process support, creating business data foundations and literacy and responsible AI training and practices
Responsibilities:
Rapidly prototype and deliver working proof-of-concepts and working builds that translate business requirements into functional solutions, iterating quickly toward production.
Lead advanced, in-depth technical sessions, workshops, and hands-on labs for technical and semi-technical audiences, building internal capability in AI-assisted development.
Build and optimize agentic workflows, tool integrations, to maximize solution capability and reliability.
Establish and promote best practices for AI-assisted development, code quality, reusability, and responsible build standards across teams.
Drive build projects from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
Collaborate with Business Applications, IT R&D, Analytics and business units to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver measurable value through custom-built AI solutions.
This includes identification of required foundations to support the builders community (literacy, business models, RBAC foundations etc.)
Stay continuously current with the fast-moving AI development landscape - new models, platforms, agent frameworks, and tooling - and bring that knowledge into the organization.
Ensure compliance with corporate information security standards, data handling, and governance policies.

What Youll Do:
Work on agents, prompts, evals, MCPs and direct agent tools from ideation to productization, for allowing our company to help companies and developers to maximize the benefit of their integration with our company
Help conceptualize and build innovative User flows and experiences within our user space and different extensions
Prototype and see what works well in the real world, iterate closely with our users, and then ship
Follow the latest research on LLM prompt optimization, agents, and code editing.

What You'll Do:
Support AI-based application solutions where reliability matters. Partner with the development teams building AI-powered travel experiences to support the development and production operation of their solution.
Work with AI solutions, providers, and APIs. Partner with teams integrating AI capabilities and providers, with attention to API reliability, authentication, quotas, rate limits, latency and provider-specific operational constraints.
Troubleshoot AI tools and provider issues. Diagnose failures across AI-powered workflows, provider APIs, configuration, permission errors, degraded responses and related areas.
Operate reliable production platforms. implement and run cloud infrastructure,and help product teams move quickly without compromising reliability.
Improve observability. Build dashboards, alerts, traces, logs, and runbooks that make service health clear, actionable, and tied to SLOs and customer impact.
Apply AI to SRE workflows. Prototype and productionize AI-assisted systems that create effective and efficient operations
Automate operational toil. Create tools, workflows, and automation that remove repetitive manual work and make operational knowledge easier to use.

Responsibilities
Design and build agentic systems - single and multi-agent workflows with planning, memory, context engineering, and tool use - for both internal automation and product-facing autonomous capabilities operating over long time horizons.
Build and operate the AI platform layer - LLM gateways, prompt management, structured output handling, tool-calling infrastructure, and cost/latency optimization - deployed on Kubernetes, consumed by every team for their agentic work.
Own the agent framework layer - orchestration primitives, execution environments, state management, and sandboxed tool execution - giving every team the building blocks to create and operate their own agents.
Build evaluation infrastructure that gives teams confidence in agent behavior - automated LLM and agent evals for quality, correctness, safety, latency, cost, and regressions, including human-in-the-loop oversight for mission-critical workflows.
Productionize and harden backend services (APIs, gRPC, async workers) that integrate LLMs - with proper error handling, retries, circuit breakers, and high-availability patterns.
Own RAG pipelines and retrieval systems - indexing, chunking, embedding, vector database management, filtering, and relevance tuning for production retrieval.
Optimize performance and cost across the AI stack - model routing, caching, batching, and inference cost management.
Ship shared tooling - libraries, SDKs, agent templates, and documentation - while working closely with ML Platform, Data Platform, DevOps, and other teams across the Applied AI Engineering group. Own architecture, documentation, and operations end-to-end.
