We are looking for an exceptional Scientific Director, Physics to lead our Physics organization and help shape the scientific foundation behind our next generation of product innovation.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will lead a team of physicists working at the intersection of physics, biology, engineering, and clinical science to advance our Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) technology. As a member of the Product Development Leadership Team, you will provide scientific direction, develop organizational capabilities, and help solve complex multidisciplinary challenges that drive innovation from early discovery through clinical application.

What you will do
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-15 physicists focused on product innovation, biophysics, modeling, and experimental physics.
Serve as a key member of the Product Development Leadership Team, providing scientific leadership across product innovation initiatives.
Partner closely with Product Innovation, Preclinical Research, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Publications, and other cross-functional teams to solve multidisciplinary scientific and technical challenges.

Requirements:
Ph.D. in Physics, Biophysics, or a related scientific discipline.
At least 10 years of professional experience (or 7+ years following completion of a Ph.D.), with experience in academia considered an advantage.
At least 4-5 years of industry experience leading and developing scientific teams.

תאור התפקיד:
אחריות לניהול, תכנון, פיתוח ותחזוקת בסיסי נתונים ממוחשבים.
פיתוח, בנייה ותחזוקה של כלים לגזירת מידע ועיבודו, לתצוגה קרטוגרפית ממוחשבת.
איסוף מידע סטטיסטי ועיבודו, איגום נתונים מגורמי פנים וחוץ.
עריכה והכנת פרסומי האגף לכל הפלטפורמות הרלוונטיות.
טיפול בסקרים כולל דגימה, עיבוד הממצאים, ניתוח מחקרי ומתן ייעוץ מקצועי בתחום הסקרים והנתונים לגופי העירייה.
הכנת מצגות ודו"חות מסכמים.
יצירת סנכרון ואינטגרציה בין מערכות סטטיסטיות למערכות גיאוגרפיות (GIS) ובניית מערכות לקליטה ממוחשבת של
נתונים.
הנגשה והתאמת המידע הסטטיסטי לסביבת האינטרנט לצורך פרסומי המחלקה.

השכלה: בעל תואר אקדמי שנרכש במוסד המוכר על ידי המועצה להשכלה גבוהה, או שקיבל הכרה מהמחלקה להערכת
תארים אקדמיים בחוץ לארץ. באחד או יותר מהתחומים הבאים: סטטיסטיקה או מדעי המחשב או מערכות מידע או כלכלה
עם התמחות במדעי הנתונים.
רצוי תואר שני.
ניסיון מקצועי: 3 שנים לפחות בניתוח נתונים סטטיסטיים או ניהול מסדי נתונים.
יכולת ניתוח סקרים וכתיבה מחקרית.
ידע מעשי בתכנות.
ידע וניסיון בעבודה עם מערכות ממוחשבות.
תודעת שירות גבוהה.
חשיבה אנליטית וראייה סביבתית אינטגרטיבית וסוגיות רב תחומיות.
יחסי אנוש טובים ויכולת עבודה בצוות.
רצון ויכולת ללימוד נושאים חדשים.
אמינות ומהימנות אישית.

התפקיד כולל עבודה מעשית במעבדה hands on במערכת רב-תחומית, פיתוח מערכת הלייזר, התעמקות במודלים פיסיקליים של מערכת הלייזר, פיתוח שיטות מדידה ודיאגנוסטיקות, תכנון וביצוע מערכי ניסוי, ניתוח תוצאות והסקת מסקנות.

תואר שלישי בפיסיקה / הנדסת חשמל או תחום דומה
רקע בעבודה עם לייזרים - חובה
ניסיון של 3 שנים בעבודת מעבדה hands on - חובה
ניסיון בתכנון וביצוע ניסויים, כולל תכנון ניסוי, ניתוח נתונים והסקת מסקנות.
ידע ב- Matlab ו/או Labview - יתרון
רקע בעבודה עם מערכות ואקום/לחץ - יתרון
