The Purchasing Account Manager will be responsible for commercial ownership and performance of hardware suppliers and EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) subcontractors, supporting end‑to‑end manufacturing (PCBA, mechanics, cabling, system integration).
As an employee you will:
Own the commercial relationship with EMS subcontractors and HW suppliers, including pricing, contracts, and ongoing governance
Lead EMS supplier strategy, selection, and commercial engagement across PCBA, system integration, and full build-to-print (BTP) scope
Drive cost optimization, pricing models, and total cost of ownership (TCO) across EMS and HW categories
Manage supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery), with focus on EMS operational KPIs and service levels
Support production ramp-up and resolve EMS-related supply, capacity, and execution issues
Lead escalations and mitigate risks (capacity constraints, BCP, compliance) within EMS ecosystem
Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, QA, and Supply Chain on EMS manufacturing readiness and execution.
Requirements: 3-5 years in procurement/supplier management
Proven experience working with EMS providers and hardware manufacturing environments
Sourcing and supplier management for electronic hardware components, leveraging deep knowledge of global component supplier networks
Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities
Strong understanding of EMS operations, PCBA manufacturing, and HW procurement (mechanics, cabling, system assemblies)
End-to-end understanding of the HW and EMS supply chain lifecycle (NPI → mass production → sustain)
High proficiency in MS 365 data analytics (Excel, Power BI)
Strong cost analysis and commercial modeling skills
Strong stakeholder management
Experience with AI tools / data-driven procurement solutions - advantage.
