a leading provider of advanced inertial navigation systems for defense and international markets, is looking for a Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of IMU & INS solutions.
This role is at the heart of our R&D organization, driving system architecture and end-to-end development of complex multidisciplinary products.
In this role you will -
Lead full lifecycle development of inertial navigation systems (IMU/INS) - from concept and requirements definition through architecture, design, integration, verification, and qualification.
Own system-level architecture, including performance budgets, error modeling, and trade-off analysis.
Drive multidisciplinary development across Hardware, Firmware, Software, Algorithms, Mechanics, and Production.
Define and manage system requirements, interfaces, and verification plans (V&V).
Lead integration activities, debugging, and root-cause analysis of complex system-level issues.
Analyze performance and test data (lab & field), including drift, noise, thermal & dynamics effects, and calibration behavior.
Support design reviews, documentation, and compliance with industry and military standards.
Contribute to cost estimation, risk analysis, and design-to-cost considerations.
Work closely with customers - from technical discussions to onsite integration and acceptance tests.
Requirements: Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Electro-Optics / Physics or equivalent - must
5+ years of experience in system engineering of complex hardware products (defense / inertial / electro-optics - strong advantage)
Strong system-level thinking - hands-on approach
Experience with sensors (IMU, gyros, accelerometers) - significant advantage
Experience in multidisciplinary systems (HW, FW, SW, mechanics)
Hands-on experience with lab equipment and system bring-up - must
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Python / MATLAB or similar tools - advantage
