As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Hardware Design Engineer (Board Design) to join our Hardware Development team and contribute to the design and development of advanced electronic boards for complex aerospace and defense systems.

What Youll Do

Design, develop, and modify electronic boards throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Perform board bring-up activities following development and initial manufacturing.

Troubleshoot hardware issues, analyze failures, and implement design improvements.

Edit schematics and support PCB layout activities.

Improve product manufacturability and maintain production documentation.

Support PCB manufacturers and electronic assembly subcontractors while ensuring compliance with IPC standards.

Investigate manufacturing failures and provide engineering solutions.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Software, Firmware, and System Engineering.

Participate in design reviews (PDR/CDR).

Prepare engineering documentation, test procedures, and product verification documents.

Support the transition from development to production.

We are looking for experienced Chip Design Engineers to join our team and take a key role in RTL design, new IP development, and SoC integration.

As part of the design team, you will be deeply involved in architectural exploration, protocol evaluation, and hands-on design work across multiple chip blocks.

Collaborate with Radio, MAC, and Systems engineering teams to architect, define and implement innovative algorithms, calibrations, and protocols.

Support pre-silicon validation efforts, including simulation, emulation, and FPGA prototyping.

Develop SoC test and calibration capabilities for chip, module, and product factories.

Support post-silicon bringup, validation, performance characterization, system integration and debugging. - Repeatedly measure and optimize results using various test harnesses - Automate calibration and verification processes.

BIRD Aerosystems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for our System of Systems project, focused on developing innovative aerospace solutions. You will lead systems integration efforts and ensure seamless functionality across various systems. Responsibilities:
* Own the systems engineering of a complex System of Systems (SoS), maintaining the overall system-level view across multiple interconnected systems and subsystems.
* Translate operational and customer needs into system architecture, clear and verifiable requirements, and system and interface specifications.
* Define and manage interfaces and cross-system dependencies across radar, electro-optic, software and hardware teams.
* Lead system integration, verification and validation activities, including system-level troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, and participate in field integration and test campaigns (ground and live-fire test events).
* Identify system risks, interface gaps and integration challenges early, and drive technical solutions with the relevant engineering teams.
* Participate in and contribute to system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and technical trade-off studies from a System of Systems perspective.

As a Wireless Design Verification Engineer, you will be part of a team that is responsible for pre-silicon RTL verification of communication subsystems, SoC sub-systems and chip-level functionality. The activity may focus on block level, sub-system level or chip level, including end-to-end simulations of the entire data/control path. You will interact with DV methodologists, designers and communication systems engineers to develop reusable testbench and verification environment deploying the latest methodology with metric driven verification.

- Architect and develop testbenches and environments, by using state-of-the-art verification methodologies.
- Define verification plan, create, simulate and debug test scenarios.
- Drive regression and coverage analysis to ensure high quality DV.
