About the Role:
This position combines technical leadership with hands-on algorithm development for advanced sensing platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring a team of algorithm engineers.
* Developing advanced signal and image processing algorithms for detection and target tracking across radar and electro-optical sensors.
* Designing optimization and control algorithms for complex sensing systems.
* Defining TEST scenarios and contributing to simulation environments, validation databases, and proof-of-concept experiments.
* Developing innovative algorithmic approaches for detection and tracking in noisy and complex environments.
* Performing comparative performance analysis and documenting algorithmic methodologies.
* Conducting end-to-end system validation in collaboration with system engineering teams.
* Designing, supporting, and analyzing field experiments and validation activities.
* Applying Machine Learning tools for algorithm optimization and performance enhancement.
Requirements: Requirements
* MSc in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other exact sciences (mandatory.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in signal processing (Radar / Communications / Medical Imaging preferred).
* Strong expertise in statistics and probability theory.
* Proven experience in algorithm development for detection, estimation, or tracking systems.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to work independently in complex technological environments.
* Leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
Advantage
* Experience with sensor fusion / multi-sensor data fusion.
* Background in radar systems, electro-optics, or defense technologies.
* Experience with Machine Learning -based optimization techniques.
