We are looking for a top-notch Sr software automation engineer to drive our test efforts and automation infrastructure. You will be in charge of, first and foremost, product quality, design and plan required quality assurance tests, you will develop automation tests and needed infrastructure together with deployment to all known cloud providers using python, and working closely with a development team to address issues that were discovered. We are seeking a highly technical QA Engineer to join our engine engineering group. In this role, you will be the guardian of quality for our core platform capabilities. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, ensuring the architectural integrity of our testing suites, and validating complex features across both client-side and server-side systems. You will work in a fast-moving environment where quality is a shared responsibility, but you provide the strategy and tools to make it possible.

What Will You Do:
Take part in the QA effort within your squad, fostering a culture where quality is integrated into the development lifecycle from day one.
Design, implement, and own complex automation tests spanning engine logic and backend services.
Own the manual validation of features across multiple services: identify edge cases, manage test dependencies, and provide clear "Go/No-Go" signals.
Proactively identify technical and delivery risks, articulating the trade-offs between speed of delivery and test coverage.
Act as a key player in diagnosing complex production incidents and ensuring that "post-mortem" tests are added to prevent regressions.
Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Developers to define "Definition of Done," unblock delivery, and ensure shared ownership of the product quality.
Strong expertise in the teams core stack (Node.js) to build and execute automated test suites (API, Integration, E2E).
Expert-level proficiency in Playwright for cross-browser E2E testing.
Ability to navigate and interact with the DOM efficiently for frontend testing, utilizing event delegation and understanding browser rendering to build stable UI tests.
Proactively identifies and implements improvements to testing pipelines, deployment gates, and internal QA tooling.
Ability to pivot testing strategies as the product evolves and independently learn new testing frameworks or technologies.

Role and Responsibilities:
Test Development & Validation
Design, develop, and implement test plans, test fixtures and infrastructure.
Collaborate with R&D to define test requirements early in the product lifecycle.
Develop test scripts and automation software (Python, LabVIEW, C#, etc.) to improve coverage and efficiency.
Validate test coverage, yield, and reliability through statistical analysis (GR&R, Cpk, SPC).
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Support EVT, DVT, and PVT phases with test readiness and execution.
Lead test process transfer to contract manufacturers (CMs) or ODM partners.
Train CM engineers/technicians on test systems and procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Manufacturing Support & Continuous Improvement
Monitor production test yields, debug failures, and drive root cause analysis (RCA).
Implement corrective actions and continuous improvements to reduce test time, cost, and false failures.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment and fixtures.
Support ECO (Engineering Change Orders) by updating test plans and equipment accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with hardware, firmware, and reliability engineers to improve product testability and robustness.
Partner with Quality and Operations to ensure smooth scaling into mass production.
Engage with suppliers and CM partners on test strategy alignment.

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role combines hands-on automation development with solid manual testing capabilities and strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
Responsibilities
