The Site Technology Manager is responsible for leveraging the resources and capabilities of the Enterprise Technology (ET) organization to enable business success across Novocure sites and regions, while exemplifying the mission, values, and goals of the Enterprise Technology Office. The Site Manager actively partners with our business units and fellow ET departments across their site and region of responsibility emphasizing quality, continuous improvement, and timely response. Site Technology Managers, as members of the ET Infrastructure team, will also serve as the smart hands and feet on the ground at each site, assisting ET Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams with implementations, troubleshooting and management of systems, applications and services as needed. Site Technology Managers, applying expert judgment, decide on a case-by-case basis whether to provide guidance on self-service tools, escalate issues, delegate to other support staff, or independently resolve them. The Site Technology will ensure that the quality of technical site support for the site is of excellent quality, and will track: issues, risks and action items, as well as maintaining relevant documentation for the site as needed.
This is a full time, exempt, on-site office-based role tied to the Haifa IL office reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Site Technology Operations based in our Portsmouth, NH USA location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead day-to-day site technology operations and manage local IT hardware inventory
Act as team lead for the Israel site(s), managing and mentoring the local Site Support team
Serve as the primary on-site technology contact and escalation point
Partner with global and regional ET teams to ensure consistent, high-quality support
Collaborate with Facilities on technology-related site projects, moves, and expansions
Oversee onboarding/offboarding and ensure compliance with ITGCs and SOPs
Monitor ticket queues, manage escalations, and report status to ET leadership
Manage local IT vendors and service providers, ensuring SLA adherence
Support and contribute to global ET initiatives and site-specific projects
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or technical certifications in an IT-related, Computer Science, or Engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience working in the field of information technology.
Knowledge:
3+ years of experience with system, function, or project management preferred
Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC)
Ability to quickly recognize technical issues and escalate or resolve, as necessary
Demonstrated customer service mindset in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to write and clearly present problem statements and resolutions
Detail-oriented, highly organized, resourceful, with self-starter problem-solving aptitude
Flexible team-player mindset who can work with a variety of interdisciplinary groups
Experience working and coordinating with ET-managed service providers
Experience and knowledge of Linux OS and Systems preferred
Awareness of U.S. and international security standards and best practices such as ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, etc.
Previous project management, functional management, and supervisory experience a plus
Familiarity with healthcare, and/or medical/scientific research is preferred
