Were looking for a highly skilled and self-driven QA Engineer to join the Core Client team at our company. In this role, you will take substantial ownership of the quality, reliability, and performance of our Client Engage product, one of the key pillars of our companys platform, powering real-time, personalized digital banking experiences for major financial institutions around the world.
You will operate at the core of our technology, partnering closely with developers, product managers, and designers to define and execute effective testing strategies across complex, configurable UI components and multi-platform integrations. A major part of the role involves building and maintaining robust automated testing suites, ensuring long-term stability and efficiency as the product continues to scale.
This is a hands-on, high-impact position that goes beyond routine testing. You will help refine our processes, influence quality standards, and play a central role in driving a culture of quality within the team. Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the QA process for the Client Engage platform, including both manual and automated testing activities.
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using modern E2E and functional testing frameworks.
Validate complex UI components and interaction flows across web and mobile platforms, including technologies such as React, React Native, Swift, and Kotlin.
Plan and execute regression, sanity, and exploratory tests as part of the ongoing development cycle.
Verify cross-browser compatibility, responsive behavior, and accessibility compliance to ensure a consistent user experience. Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the feature lifecycle to ensure quality considerations are fully integrated into the process.
Maintain clear and structured test documentation and ensure proper issue tracking and traceability using tools such as YouTrack, Jira, or similar.
Contribute to the evolution of QA tooling, automation infrastructure, and test environment configurations.
Advocate for quality across the team, take part in retrospectives, and support continuous improvement of processes and standards.
Requirements: 4-5 years of hands-on QA experience in complex, frontend-driven products, covering both manual and automation workflows.
Strong experience in manual testing: test planning, test case creation, exploratory testing, regression, and defect reporting.
Extensive automation experience with Playwright, combined with strong JavaScript proficiency and understanding of modern frontend architectures.
Solid grasp of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, test design best practices, and the ability to drive quality initiatives independently.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and working in Linux-based environments.
Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and issue-tracking tools such as YouTrack or Jira.
Hands-on testing experience with mobile applications on Android and iOS.
Excellent communication skills, strong ownership, proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and fluency in English.
Nice to have
Experience testing complex, component-based, or widget-driven systems with reusable UI elements and dynamic configurations.
Experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Detox, Espresso, XCUITest).
Knowledge of API testing and visual regression tools (Postman, REST-assured, Percy, Applitools).
Familiarity with accessibility testing and WCAG standards (VoiceOver, TalkBack, JAWS, NVDA).
