What youll do:

Maintain and improve the team's engineering practices, suggesting and implementing technology, patterns, or process enhancements.
Proactively identify areas of improvement in team systems, processes, and scalability.
Lead by example in code quality, contributing significantly to code reviews and acting as a focal point for engineering excellence questions.
Help monitor production systems, investigate potential issues, and lead efforts to resolve critical production challenges while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities
Lead complex backend projects from functional spec, through writing detailed technical documentation, architecture, development, and deployment.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python in production environments
Build and manage cloud-native, microservices-based architectures and distributed systems
Work with a variety of data storage technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, and frontend
Build and manage frontend components (Angular) as needed
Communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

We are seeking a Backend Team Lead to lead our Core Experience team, which owns mission-critical backend systems such as authentication, api gaterway, and session management. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with people management. You will guide a team of backend engineers to build reliable, scalable, and secure services that power the core of our companys platform.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering technical growth and career development.
Own the architecture, design, and implementation of backend services for Core Experience.
Ensure high system reliability, scalability, and performance in a high-volume production environment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Mobile, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Provide hands-on technical guidance, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
Align team roadmap with business goals, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

We are looking for an outstanding SW Engineer for the CI and Build Team inside the SW Engineering Group. In this position, you will develop SW infrastructure and services, using OOD methodologies. This position is essential in enabling speed, quality and continuous delivery for all our Algo developers. The CI and Build Team is part of the Algorithmic Department which is responsible for developing our advanced algorithms. The Algorithmic department is essential in providing state of the art solutions for internal and external customers.
What your job will look like:
Designing and developing SW features and infrastructure
Developing APIs
Collaborating with team mates and internal customers to define requirements, designs and test plans
Redesigning legacy code to enable new capabilities as services
Working in an Agile work environment as part of a scrum team
Development mostly in Python (Object Oriented), Groovy
Development Stack: Linux, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Python, Groovy.
