On your day to day
As a backend Engineer on Riversides Core Team, you will build, maintain, and scale the backend services that power our AI-driven video and audio editor. Youll collaborate closely with the Editor, AI, and Infrastructure teams to define APIs, data flows, and system interactions, while owning critical backend components to ensure performance, reliability, and smooth integration between editing, rendering, and Storage systems. You will help shape the teams architecture and technical vision, set high standards for code quality, testing, and observability, and mentor peers to foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and impact.

On your day to day As the Processing Team Lead at Riverside, you will lead a team of backend and video engineers responsible for the company’s media processing pipeline. You’ll own the architecture and scalability of both real-time and offline processing systems, ensuring top performance and cost efficiency. Working closely with our AI, Product, and Infrastructure teams. You’ll drive innovation in how Riverside processes and optimizes large-scale video and audio data using distributed systems and cloud-native technologies, while establishing best practices for monitoring, observability, and quality control across the entire processing stack. Beyond the technical leadership, you’ll mentor and grow engineers, fostering technical excellence and a culture of ownership, creativity, and impact.
What Will Make You Stand Out?
* 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years leading a team.
* Proven experience with large-scale video/audio processing, streaming, or rendering systems.
* Strong knowledge of distributed systems, performance optimization, and cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Kubernetes).
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages,.
* Hands-on experience with media frameworks (e.g., FFmpeg, GStreamer, WebRTC) — a big plus.
* A strong sense of product ownership and an ability to balance innovation with delivery.

We are looking for a hands-on Backend Team Lead to join our fast-growing company and build a brand-new team from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation, lead talented engineers, and shape the future of our security applications content.
What Will You Do?
Build and lead a new team from scratch.
Mentor and guide junior developers, focusing on professional growth.
Lead the development of pre-built security steps, workflows, and templates to accelerate customer adoption.
Collaborate closely with a dedicated PM to align product priorities with business goals and deliver maximum customer value.
Improve workflows and create unified standards for security content and processes.
Build and enhance engineering infrastructure, including CI/CD, DevOps, platform reliability, and testing systems.
Foster a multidisciplinary, innovative environment while maintaining high engineering standards.

As a Backend Billing Team Leader , you will lead and mentor a global team of 8 engineers that build superb Billing applications and systems that is the basis for product.

The Billing team is responsible for building and maintaining compliant billing system that supports both B2C and B2B customers, as well as our drivers and fleets.

We handle high-scale financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and reliability.

You will be working in collaboration with other team leaders and team members on requirements, design, and development.

The ideal candidate will have strong managerial experience in managing teams, and must have high professional skills, great interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of building strong technological teams. We are looking for people who are passionate about the technology required for building high-quality products.
