* Conduct thorough field testing and proof of concepts.
* Collaborate with external vendors.
* Collaborate with electronics engineers to design PCBs.
* Generate production level drawings, BOMs and assembly manuals.

The Mechanical Engineer will work on exciting projects to support our expanding portfolio of products related to our cancer treatment device from concept all the way through manufacturing, taking into consideration quality, regulation, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturing feasibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PCB and PCBA design for HW engineering.
Multidisciplinary products
Customized design and consideration of manufacturability as part of the design
Rigorous analyses of designs using appropriate methods such as FEA and dimensional tolerance analysis.
Consider automated production requirements as part of the design.
Evaluate requirements and determine mechanical requirements for the design and development of consumables.
Drive component and integration testing to verify that prototypes and production components/constructs meet design intent.
Assess requirements and set the mechanical requirements for the design and development of consumables.
Provide the data for a full production file (3D files, drawings of mechanical parts, assembly drawings and instructions, BOM)
Contact and manage suppliers and subcontractors for manufacturing.
Liaising with suppliers and production sub-contractors.
Conduct relevant research
Producing and implementing designs and test procedures
Perform the actual testing, evaluating, measuring, modifying, and re-testing of the design
Generate test reports and documentation

Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Mechanical Engineer to support our Silicon Photonics Engineering group in Haifa, Israel. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging global multi-site environment. This role will report to the SiPh Engineering Manager in North Reading, MA, USA.

You will lead and/or participate in platform product development initiatives within our Silicon Photonics product team. In the SiPh Engineering group, we focus on developing state-of-the-art Optical Instruments for our Semiconductor Test Equipment products. This optical test equipment is essential for the massive expansion in AI that the industry is currently experiencing.

You will create innovative and sound technical solutions to complex engineering problems. You will also identify essential requirements and key technical risks. You will work closely with Electrical Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Optical Engineers to design solutions for New Product Introduction and High-Volume Manufacturing.

Develop detailed mechanical designs using 3D CAD, along with creating 2D fabrication drawings
Create Engineering Change & Release documents (ECN / ECO)
Participate in internal design reviews

We are looking for a seasoned and hands-on NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in central Tel Aviv. In this critical role, you will be the bridge between our innovative R&D team and our manufacturing partners, ensuring our cutting-edge drone systems can be produced reliably, efficiently, and at scale. What You'll Do As our NPI Engineer, you will own the process of transitioning complex electro-mechanical products from the prototype stage to volume production. You will work closely with our R&D team and contract manufacturers to ensure our designs are optimized for manufacturability and our production lines are robust and scalable. Key Responsibilities: Lead the transition of electronics and mechanics projects from prototype phases to successful volume production. Collaborate with R&D on accepting, managing and versioning design & manufacturing documentation and materials (BOMs, drawings, schematics, assembly manuals, production testing protocols, testing jigs and software), ensuring consistency, completeness, applicability and qualification for production. Oversee pilot runs and production ramp-up, proactively identifying and resolving any manufacturing or quality issues.
