our companys Product Engineering group is looking for a highly motivated Hardware Engineer to lead Change Impact Analysis activities related to engineering design changes (ECOs/ECRs) across our cutting-edge networking and computing platforms. This role is critical to ensuring that all product modifications are seamlessly evaluated for their impact on hardware, mechanical design, system performance, and test coverage across the product lifecycle. You will work closely with R&D, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test teams to assess risks, define mitigations, and maintain excellence in product integrity and testability.
What Youll Be Doing:
Leading engineering change analysis (ECO/ECR) processes across complex hardware systems.
Evaluating the impact of component, layout, and mechanical changes on hardware functionality, manufacturability, and testability.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of changes without compromising product quality.
Supporting DFT (Design for Testability) requirements in the face of ongoing design changes.
Reviewing BOM and layout revisions and assessing ripple effects on power delivery, signal integrity, and thermal performance.
Maintaining change traceability and documentation to meet engineering and compliance standards.
Coordinating with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure product readiness and alignment with production timelines.

We, the company Networking business unit, are seeking an electrical engineer with knowledge in system-level-based IC testing, and its correlation to VLSI considerations. We require a hardworking, driven, passionate engineer who thrives in high-paced and dynamic environments. As a power & performance characterization engineer, you will be responsible for power measurements of networking ASICs in a multi-component system and correlate the power consumption to VLSI/timing principles, set operational conditions (operating F-V curve, temperature range), and characterize power to performance tradeoffs. Your role involves analyzing discrepancies, refining test methodologies, and defining the post-silicon power model of networking ASICs and how it is affected by the power model of the other components in the systems. You will work closely with design, test, and characterization teams to develop and implement robust test strategies that improve product quality and yield and close tasks quickly within a short period!
What you'll be doing:
Running functional and structural tests on the system and correlating power/ performance parameters to parametric data from ATE (production).
Analyzing effects of silicon/environmental considerations on key parameters. Candidates will build the relevant DOEs, write required scripts/functions/ envelopes, debug HW and SW issues during the activity, and analyze results from the IC point of view.
Write tests (in python/C++) to test the ASIC in worst-case conditions.
We require candidates to understand hardware specifications, the effect of the system board on IC performance considerations, software components that enable the desired functionality, and a variety of network protocols (e.g. Ethernet, PCIe).
You will collaborate with hardware teams to understand high-level hardware design, focusing primarily on interaction with the IC and taking part in debugging software issues arising from hardware-software integration.
