Were now expanding our Electronics team and looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to take a key role in designing the electrical systems that drive and control the robot physical intelligence.
Responsibilities
Design and develop complex custom PCBs for robotic systems including: Motor drivers, Power units and power management units
Sensor interfaces and digital communication systems Lead hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation processes in the lab.
Interface directly with Embedded software, mechanical, AI, and control teams to ensure Full-Stack integration and high system performance.
Define board-level TEST plans and validation procedures.
Develop and support EtherCAT, FDCAN, CANBus, and other Real-Time communication interfaces across the system.
Drive component selection, schematic design, layout reviews, BOM management, and production documentation.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or equivalent proven experience).
7+ years of experience in hardware design for multidisciplinary robotic systems, mechanics, automation, Embedded systems and robotic motors.
Proven track record designing and developing discrete motor control and actuation drivers, High current power DCDC inverters and power distribution circuits.
Proven hands-on experience with industrial communication standard interfaces such as EtherCAT, FDCAN,CANBus, RS485, SPI, I2C and USB.
Proven experience in developing analog and digital circuit design.
Proven experience in schematic Board Layout design with Altium Designer (OrCAD acceptable if willing to work in Altium).
Experience with lab bring-up, validation, and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers,multimeter,current probes and other TEST equipment.
