The Product group is looking for a Senior Technical Writer who is passionate about creating clear, accurate, and hands-on documentation for enterprise cybersecurity products. We are seeking individuals who combine strong technical skills with a sharp eye for detail. What your day will look like:
Develop and maintain technical documentation: Create user guides, API references, integration guides, and troubleshooting articles for the platform.
Validate what you write: Actively test features, replicate product behavior, and validate technical claims through hands-on exploration of the platform, APIs, and integrations not just relying on what others say.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and support to gather insights and confirm technical accuracy.
Utilize modern documentation tools: Use platforms like ReadMe and Document360, and write in Markdown to author and manage content.
Ensure consistency and quality: Follow style guides, review documentation for clarity, grammar, and technical depth. Contribute to peer reviews and editorial feedback cycles.
Contribute technical depth to the team: Help raise the bar by demystifying complex concepts for other writers and providing guidance when reviewing content related to APIs, workflows, or integrations.

WHAT YOULL DO
Work hand-in-glove with Product Managers, Customer Success, and others to keep the existing set of written documentation aligned with the product, in terms of both functionality and appearance.
Contribute to weekly and ad-hoc release notes posts, product newsletters, and other customer communications.
Collaborate with instructional designers, curriculum developers, and technical trainers to ensure that both recorded and live training is accurate and up to date.
Help frontend developers and product managers refine in-app microcopy.

What Youll Do:
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to document new features, updates, and cutting-edge technologies
Design, develop, and maintain knowledge base articles that make complex topics easy to understand for our users
Ensure that our documentation is clear, concise, and accurate, providing comprehensive resources for both technical and non-technical audiences
Proactively update and improve existing documentation based on feedback, product changes, and industry trends
Take ownership of documentation projects from start to finish, contributing to the continuous improvement of our documentation processes

As a technical writer, youll be responsible for writing API, CLI, and technical feature documentation for developers building on the company's platformwhether theyre creating apps for the company's app market, customizing our company's sites with code, or developing headless sites and apps. In your day to day, youll:
Collaborate closely with our company's engineers while testing and documenting new dev features
Review API design, refine API naming, and write detailed API reference documentation
Write tutorials, procedures, and readmes, providing developers with end-to-end guides on how to build on our company
Edit CLI and error messages, ensuring a consistent developer experience.
