We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join our Application team.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management and technical expertise. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, shape infrastructure strategy, and ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and security to define and deliver infrastructure solutions and CI/CD pipelines that accelerate development while maintaining the highest standards in security and reliability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of skilled DevOps engineers.
Define team goals, drive execution, and support professional development.
Own and evolve our CI/CD infrastructure to support rapid and safe delivery of code to production.
Collaborate with developers to improve build and deployment processes.
Ensure observability, monitoring, and alerting systems are effective and actionable.
Manage cloud infrastructure (primarily in AWS) using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
Take an active role in writing and reviewing Python code to support infrastructure tools and internal automation.
Maintain high standards for automation, code quality, and security practices.
Promote a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and cross-team collaboration.
Manage cloud cost optimization as part of FinOps responsibilities.
Requirements: 2+ years of experience in a team leadership or management role.
5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer in cloud-native environments.
Expertise in SaaS serverless environment, including design, development and maintenance
Deep experience in Docker container environments, both for on-premise and cloud
Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
Strong experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm).
Strong hands-on experience in writing production-grade code in Python.
Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to drive technical strategy and align with business goals.
Passion for leading people and helping them grow.
Nice to have:
Experience in managing production environments in cybersecurity or SaaS companies.
Background in development or security engineering.
Experience with Kubernetes.
