As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within our portfolio. You will manage project timelines, mitigate risks, oversee changes, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives.
This is a hybrid role, requiring flexibility to be in the office for an average of two days per week or as needed based on project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Delivery
Lead and manage projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations.
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and addressing deviations.
Identify resource requirements and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project needs are met.
Risk & Change Management
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on deliverables.
Implement structured change management processes to evaluate, approve, and integrate changes effectively through baseline management.
Ensure all risks, dependencies, and assumptions are documented and managed effectively.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
Act as the primary project liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to senior management and customers.
Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and alignment with customer expectations.
Process Improvement & Governance
Promote best practices in project management and contribute to process improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal project governance frameworks
Support the Senior Program Manager in driving program-level reporting and strategic initiatives.
Requirements: 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in a Satcom, telecom, aerospace, or technology-driven environment.
Strong proficiency in project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality management.
Expertise in risk management and change management, with a track record of successfully managing project uncertainties.
Demonstrated experience in customer interactions and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally within a startup or agile setting.
