As our Senior Industrial Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our platform’s capabilities, delivering exceptional user experiences, and driving impactful business results. You’ll work in a data-driven environment focusing on continuous improvement and optimization.
Your life at MA?LYS will look like…
* Lead the end-to-end packaging design process, from concept to production, including primary and secondary packaging, shape definition, color strategy, and user experience.
* Design mass-produced, high-end packaging across materials like glass, plastic, cardboard, and fabric.
* Collaborate with manufacturers: review technical files, evaluate all packaging parts, and ensure production accuracy.
* Explore and test new packaging structures that enhance formula compatibility and customer experience.
* Conceptualize and design complete brand experiences, including PR kits, gifting plans, and influencer boxes.
* Support the industrialization and QC processes, ensuring design intent is maintained through production.
* Apply knowledge of die lines, print closures, Pantone colors (CMF), paper types, coatings, and finishes.
* Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, creative studio environment.
You will thrive in this role if you have…
* 4–6 years of experience in packaging or industrial design roles.
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (required).
* Hands-on experience with SolidWorks and KeyShot (3D design and rendering).
* Strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Experience in an industrial design studio (an advantage).
* Knowledge of plastic engineering (an advantage).
* Basic understanding of materials, production methods, and material qualities.
* Experience in graphic and packaging design, including print preparation.
* Familiarity with AI-based design tools and workflows (an advantage).
* Strong English communication skills.
* A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to prioritize what’s best for the team.
