The Role:
As the Senior Staff Architect for the AI Security team, you will own the architecture that safeguards our GenAI initiatives. Partnering closely with security researchers, AI specialists, and software engineers, you will turn cutting-edge research into robust, production-ready solutions. Youll also be the key liaison between AI Security and the wider Product and Infrastructure architecture communitieskeeping them informed of our roadmap and ensuring our team is aware of broader company initiatives and how to integrate with them. Reporting directly to the Director of AI Security, you will lead engineering execution while championing secure, scalable design.

What youll do:
Design and build clean, reusable, and scalable systems that secure LLMs, generative AI, and other advanced ML technologies.
Translate research into reality by collaborating daily with security researchers and AI experts, guiding engineers to implement their vision.
Interface with Product & Platform Architects to embed security by design into new features and existing workflows, and to align roadmaps in both directions.
Shape new products and features while continuously improving our existing tool suite.
Set engineering best practices (code reviews, testing, CI/CD) and drive technical excellence.
Mentor and lead engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth across the team.

Role Overview As a Senior Architect at mPrest, you will write and lead design efforts across multiple projects, working at the intersection of software architecture, cloud-native infrastructure, and Real-Time data systems. You will guide cross-functional teams, influence technology strategy, and be hands-on in both design and decision-making.
Responsibilities:

* Work side-by-side with another Architect to define system architecture, integration strategies, and technical roadmaps.
* Take POCs from idea to deployment with minimum risk and maximum impact, ensuring business alignment and technical viability.
* Lead high-level and detailed design of complex distributed systems using Kubernetes JAVA Python.NET Core, and.NET Framework Write high-level and detailed level design documents.
* Drive architectural best practices, security by design, scalability, and maintainability across projects.
* Collaborate with DevOps, backend, frontend, QA teams to ensure alignment between infrastructure and application layers.
* Participate in architecture reviews, threat modeling, and design validation activities.
* Support the development of internal tools, accelerators, and reusable services across the mPrest platform.
* Take part in customer-facing discussions, architecture presentations, and requirement refinement sessions.
* Mentor engineers and promote a strong engineering culture based on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
