We are currently seeking a Backend Developer based out of Israel (hybrid).

We are seeking to hire a Backend Developer, ideally with some background in DevOps & Infrastructure fields, to support the companys tech side. Candidates will have the opportunity to code and develop in multiple programming languages, on a microservice oriented environment, using latest modern tech stack.

The position will work directly under our Head of Technology, but will also need to communicate well and be able to work with other peers and senior colleagues from different departments.

Well Count on You To:
Maintain existing code, solving bugs, implementing changes.
Developing new features, new tools, and working on new green-field projects for new product endeavors.
Help maintaining and keeping the stability of our infrastructure and availability of our services & products.
Building and Improving tech-related support systems such as monitoring, alerts, analytics, etc.
Supporting and helping the PoliSci team and the Sales team when working with internal (non-client facing) systems, usually due to clients demands.

As a Senior Backend Developer in the Infra Team you will be an integral part of designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical large scale payment processing solutions. You will influence product and engineering organizations to ensure appropriate and consistent architecture, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our application and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Involvement and ownership of all aspects of Infra development, from ideation through architecture to implementation, testing and continuous deployment
Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and delivery of features
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, fostering their growth and helping them enhance their skills
Optimize application performance, ensuring low latency, high availability, and reliability
Identify and address bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues within the backend infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve the development process.
Participate in design and code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Conduct thorough testing of backend components, write automated tests, and ensure high code quality and reliability
Contribute to the overall technical strategy and architecture of the product

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team. You will work closely with our product team to build our unique product offering. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing our data ingestion pipeline, introducing new analysis engines, and building complex backend designs that are both scalable and fault-tolerant.

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.

Role:
Lead, support, and mentor a group of four teams: DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, and Infra. Currently overseeing 15 engineers, directly managing the team leads of the DevOps and DevSecOps teams, and providing both technical guidance and management leadership
