The Senior SRE will work across a vast array of cloud-based mission-critical systems, services, and technologies with a focus on databases, aiming to build an autonomous, monitored, fault-tolerant infrastructure that is optimized for both simplicity and uptime. The senior SRE will collaborate with the backend, frontend and DevOps engineering teams to ensure that product solutions are scalable, efficient, and reliable.
The senior SRE will design infrastructure to support our massive growth and work with the team to maintain the highest level of service
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, construction and improvement of the SRE team infrastructure in the areas of monitoring, incident management, change management using infra as a code.
Mentoring, recommendations for improving and streamlining the database area in the team in aspects of indexes, retention, load, slow queries, user data distribution, troubleshooting, performance degradation, connectivity problems, and other database-related incidents.
Work on mission critical systems in a large-scale SaaS production environment.
Work with cloud native advanced technologies and solutions such as Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Prometheus and cloud managed services.
Work closely with application developers and stakeholders to ensure that the database structure is efficient, scalable, and meets the organization's requirements.
Be responsible for installing and configuring database management systems (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.) across all cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS).
Monitor database performance, analyze query execution plans, and identify bottlenecks or performance issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as provisioning, decommission, cost optimization and database upgrades while ensuring compatibility with existing applications and data.
Oversee data migration projects when transitioning from one database system to another or when consolidating data from multiple sources.

As a member of the UC organization, youll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Security Engineer to join our growing team. For the first 6 months you will:
Bolster and develop our defensive security capabilities, identifying advanced threats to us, developing and implementing countermeasures
Responding to incidents and conducting investigations as events happen through analyzing logs and various other sources (ex: AWS Guardduty, SecurityHub, Detective, etc.)
Engineer and automate custom detection and response capabilities to combat malicious and/or unwanted behaviors within the environment
Stay up to date with Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) that may apply to us and define and implement mitigation techniques to improve our overall risk posture
You will be part of a new product security team responsible for building, supporting, enhancing and improving our security frameworks, tools, processes and methodologies used across our SDLC and Runtime environments.
In this role, you will also be responsible to:
Conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments and security auditing of assets
Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures
Contribute to the creation and upkeep of run books to handle security incidents
Administer security configuration for threat management platforms for large-scale environments, including security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) and security information and event management (SIEM) tools
Contribute and showcase as a SOAR platform used within our Security Operations
Provide guidance on security architecture for threat detection and response systems used as a part of the overall security operations
Consult with our security compliance team during security audits to demonstrate our technical security capabilities
Collaborate with Product Management and Development team members to enhance our Security program
Take part in the Security Operations on-call rotation, including leading all incident response efforts and documentation during your rotation

As a DevOps Engineer, you will build, design, develop, monitor, scale, and optimize the architecture and infrastructure of our SaaS products. We are building new products and adding to existing ones, requiring a fast-paced, dynamic but thorough leader that doesnt leave a stone unturned. As part of this role, youll partner with the developers from the early stages of design to affect the outcome of stable, supportable, and cost-effective cloud services. In addition to working with the engineers and your team, you also work closely with peers from cloud operations, QA, and other product teams.

Youll write code, move things around, optimize processes, etc. and along the way, make everything and everyone around you, better. The best people for this are those who would prefer to spend 4 hours writing a script just so that they dont need to click on a GUI console daily. At the same time, you will also ensure meticulous documentation is created and maintained.
