Job Description
As a Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead, youll play a key role in managing our cloud infrastructure, primarily focusing on AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, overseeing the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions, and ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our infrastructure.
Lead and manage a team of cloud and infrastructure engineers while mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and knowledge
Take full ownership of all our cloud environments, continuously improving our cloud offering to our organization including but not limited to designing, building, and implementing AWS, GCP, And Kubernetes clusters for containerized application
Develop and implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Chef
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost
Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation and integration of infrastructure, and proactively communicate progress and blockers
Identify and implement new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability
Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
Requirements:
A team lead with 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management
Proven experience with AWS
Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies
Strong experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Chef
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for technology and a willingness to learn new things
AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Devops Engineer - Professional or equivalent certification (preferred.
