We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Payroll Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll accounting activities, payroll-related employee support, and general accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts
Process invoices and maintain vendor records
Execute domestic and international payments
Support monthly and quarterly closing activities
Prepare reports for tax authorities
Respond to employee payroll inquiries
Perform intercompany payroll allocations and departmental chargebacks
Manage employee attendance records using the Hilan system
Requirements: Must Have:
At least 5 years of experience in payroll accounting within a company of 200+ employees.
Previous payroll experience.
Strong accounting knowledge, including complex journal entries and reconciliations.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
High level of accuracy, organization, and service orientation.
Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
Experience working with the Hilan payroll and attendance system
Experience with SAP
