Provides Control systems engineering support to upstream operations, small to medium capital projects, and turnarounds.
Designs, selects, tests, installs, monitors, modifies, and maintains safe and reliable process automation systems for new and existing facilities.
Utilizes process automation systems (PAS) including process control systems (PCS), safety instrumented systems (SIS)/instrumented protective systems (IPS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated applications.
Optimizes process automation systems integrity, reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Organizes and leads cross-functional teams to address complex issues or technical activities.
Collaborates with operations, maintenance, & construction personnel to identify, develop & implement offshore and onshore brownfield projects.
Requirements: Education in B.S. Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Chemical, Control, & Mechanical) or Information Technology related discipline is preferred.
5-10 years of experience
Experience working with facility operations personnel, particularly console operators, is highly desirable.
