An international company operating in the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced senior executive to lead its business operations in Africa.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership position with full responsibility for the local business, including operations, P L, commercial activity, customer relationships, team management, and continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of the local business operations and P L.
Lead and manage the local organization, operational teams, and field activities.
Drive operational excellence and ensure achievement of business and performance targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and local stakeholders.
Oversee budgets, costs, procurement, logistics, and supplier management.
Identify new business opportunities and lead initiatives to support continued growth.
Requirements: Significant senior management experience in Africa - mandatory.
Proven experience as a General Manager, Country Manager, Managing Director, or in a similar senior leadership role.
French - mandatory.
Strong experience in P L and operational management.
Background in energy, utilities, infrastructure services, or related industries - strong advantage.
Experience managing substantial field operations and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong commercial, customer management, and negotiation capabilities.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a complex and dynamic African business environment.
Willingness to relocate to Africa.
