we are looking for a Procurement Senior Manager.
About The Position:
Lead, mentor and develop the procurement team, including workload planning, priority setting, performance management and professional growth.
Define, execute, and oversee procurement strategy and plans of Insigthec direct BOM goods and services suppliers.
Lead daily procurement activities execution, including issuing purchase orders, confirmations, expediting and maintaining accurate data in the ERP system.
Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and alignment by all departments.
Ensure continuous material availability to support production builds, service needs and consumable treatment kits.
Manage supplier relationships at a strategic operational level, including tiering, performance oversight, suppliers onboard support and risk evaluation.
Manage suppliers performance (OTD, shortages, recovery plans, etc.) and escalate when needed.
Lead the operational suppliers ECOs implementation, including phase-in/phase-out coordination, inventory exposure review, and rework/scrap decisions in coordination with Planning, Finance, ME & QA.
Support engineering projects, including NPIs, with procurement readiness, risk identification and suppliers alignment. Lead suppliers transitions (supplier-to-supplier or make-to-buy), ensuring seamless operational execution.
Provide operational support for sourcing activities, including input on LT, MOQ, logistics, service levels, operational constraints and suppliers readiness.
Collect, validate and analyze suppliers price quotations to support sourcing decisions. Identify, assess and escalate suppliers price increases while creating mitigations to maintain BOM costs.
Drive operational cost-reduction and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvement initiatives, focusing on LT/MOQ optimization, supplier performance and logistics efficiency. Works with Finance to manage procurement budget and cash plan execution on regular basis.
Implement best practices in procurement process and suppliers management. Promote continuous improvement through enhanced procurement processes, visibility tools, dashboards and compliance requirements.
Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment, execution, and timely issues resolution and solutions.
Conduct quarterly business review meetings with strategic suppliers and FTK suppliers.
Requirements: B.Sc. or higher degree in Engineering / Management.
5-7 years managing procurement teams, procurement VOB higher than $50M.
10 years procurement experience with multi-disciplinary products, including electronic and mechanical. At list 3-5 years at medical devise OEM.
Proven record managing full turnkey and turnkey suppliers in Israel and abroad.
Proven records with procurement process improvement projects, implemented operational excellence processes related to efficiency and BOM cost reduction.
Strong analytical and ERP skills to lead a KPI driven organization.
Very high level of English communication skills both spoken and written.
