Smart Shooter is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong capabilities in mechanical and opto-mechanical design for leading development projects, product design, and working in a multi-program, highly multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities
* Design and development of mechanical systems, including mechanisms, opto-mechanics, and miniaturized electronic packaging
* Lead product development from concept through delivery (detailed design, manufacturing, testing, and customer support)
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electronics, software, systems, and manufacturing
* Work with suppliers and subcontractors
Requirements: Requirements
* B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
* At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design of systems
* Experience in multidisciplinary companies (defense, medical devices, or semiconductor machinery – not components) – mandatory
* Experience in opto-mechanical assemblies – significant advantage
* Experience in mechanism design and motion systems – significant advantage
* Strong system-level understanding and experience with requirements analysis
* Knowledge in designing for environmental conditions (thermal management, vibrations, shock) – significant advantage
* Experience in transferring products from development to production – advantage
